Jessica Murray
Jessica Murray is the founding member of the Tap Rhythm
Project. She has trained in New York with rhythm tap dance greats such
as Heather Cornell Manhattan Tap, La Vaughn Robinson The Four Step
Brothers, Barbara Duffy, Jimmy Tate and Billy Seigenfeld Jump Rhythm
Jazz Project. Jessica also spent several months at the TapaToe school
in Berlin training with Christina Delius and Anina Kruger Chilli Con
Tap and Brenda Bufalino American Tap Dance Orchestra. Jessica teaches
rhythm tap at LIPA and delivers Tap Rhythm Project drop in sessions.
Jessica has performed at cabaret venues in the North West and also
works collaboratively with artists ranging from jazz musicians to
turntablists and is artistic director and choreographer for Company Hot
Tap rhythm tap ensemble.
Annette Walker
Annette Walker coordinates Tap Rhythm Project in London and has been active in the UK tap scene since 2003.
Annette's tap dance training has taken her from London to Helsinki, and across the USA. She has trained with some of the best tap dancers of different generations including Dr Henry LeTang, Dianne Walker, Savion Glover and Jason Samuels Smith.
Annette is currently the tap teacher for Greenwich Dance Agency (gDA) and hosts the renegade stage for London's only bi-monthly Tap Jam. She is also a contributing writer for the Talking Tap section of Dance Expression.
Jessica and Annette also work together professionally with UK-based rhythm tap company AboutTime, who are regular favourites at the gDA Cabaret event in Greenwich, London (UK).
